- Scott and Gerry return to United Autosports for full Michelin Le Mans Cup season
- United's American-Australian duo were a winning combo in 2021 MLMC
- First United entry confirmed for next year's six-event series
Gerry Kraut and Scott Andrews will contest the 2023 Michelin Le Mans Cup with United Autosports - the team's first confirmed entry in its anticipated multi-car Ligier line-up.
Miami-based Australian driver Andrews made his United debut in 2018 for the final two rounds of the European Le Mans Series, winning his first race with the team in Spa and then placing third in Portimão.
American Gerry Kraut who is based in Minnesota, made his Michelin Le Mans Cup debut in 2017, and drove with United for the first time in the 2021 series with Andrews.
The duo first raced together in the 2017 IMSA Prototype Challenge, collecting numerous podiums along the way. In the 2021 Le Mans Cup, they finished second at Barcelona before winning the Monza round in the same year, ultimately claiming fifth place in the Drivers' Standings.
This year, Gerry and Scott have competed independently in selected IMSA races, stateside. Now it's all eyes on Europe for the 2023 season.

Gerry Kraut:
"Scott and I only raced together in the US once this year, as his status as a gold driver has limited our options. Therefore, I am very much looking forward to a full season with Scott in Europe. And, of course, being back with United makes it all that more enjoyable."
Scott Andrews:
"Looking forward to being back with United Autosports for the 2023 Michelin Le Mans Cup season. There'll be some new circuits for myself and Gerry to learn which will be a fun challenge. After some podiums with Gerry and a win in the 2021 MLMC season, we hope to challenge for podiums again next year as it seems he just keeps getting better with age!"
Richard Dean:
"We had a lot of success and a lot of fun with Gerry and Scott last year - they work together well and won a race, as well as finishing on the podium for a second time with United in the MLMC. We are delighted to see them return to Europe for a full season with our team next year."
