Daniel Goldburg will embark on his second consecutive season with United Autosports USA in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, contesting the seven-race LMP2 calendar in 2025.

The 46-year-old, Florida-based driver has proven his pace repeatedly in his debut LMP2 season, with three front row qualifying starts out of the five races so far and - together with teammates Bijoy Garg and Paul Di Resta - a podium finish at the Mobil 1 Sebring 12 Hours in March 2024.

Now, Goldburg and United are looking to build on strong foundations and fight for the 2025 championship title.

“I was thrilled to sign with United for this year,” says Goldburg, “and I want to thank Richard and the team for the confidence to sign me up for next year. We all agreed that we're building momentum and our best strategy for success next year is to keep as much of the current team together and just keep the party going! Solidifying this now helps us to put all the pieces in place as early as possible to line up the best possible 2025 season.”

“It’s fantastic news that Daniel is continuing with United Autosports USA,” says Richard Dean, United Autosports CEO. “Looking at his track record, it’s easy to forget that this is his debut season in the LMP2 class. He has established himself as one of the strongest qualifiers in the IMSA field, a deserved podium placer at the legendary Sebring 12 Hours and he is, I have no doubt, on track for a win. I think 2025 is going to be very exciting.”

Most recently at Road America, Goldburg and co-driver Di Resta narrowly missed out on their second podium of the season when a Safety Car negated their fuel advantage (read more). But with two races left in the 2024 IMSA LMP2 calendar, there are two more opportunities for the #22 crew to celebrate on Victory Lane.

“I'm feeling VERY positive about the end of the 24 season and the prospects for next year,” says Goldburg. “Let's go!”
