Indianapolis Motor Speedway
From Texas to Japan … and now Indiana, the September speed train is well and truly underway. This weekend, it’s round six of the LMP2 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, which brings the United Autosports USA crew to the home of the legendary Indy 500 - Indianapolis Motor Speedway - to Battle on the Bricks.
Last time out at Road America, the LMP2 crew celebrated their first IMSA win of the season with Ben Keating and Ben Hanley storming to victory in the #2 ORECA 07 (read more).
That victory also marked the final LMP2 sprint race of the IMSA season, which means the three-strong driver line-ups are back in action for the final two rounds - Battle on the Bricks, which for the first time in IMSA history will be a six-hour endurance race, and Petit Le Mans.
In the #2 ORECA 07, Keating and Hanley are rejoined by Nico Pino - who, together, are eager to continue their winning streak. And in the #22 ORECA 07, Daniel Goldburg, Paul Di Resta and Bijoy Garg are pushing hard to top their Sebring 12 Hour podium.
