The #22 ORECA 07 of Phil Hanson, Frederick Lubin and Filipe Albuquerque has celebrated three podiums so far this year (Sebring, Portimao and Fuji), and sits third in the LMP2 championship - just one point behind second place and within reach of the leaders, with points and a half awarded for the eight-hour finale.
For the sister #23 car, Bahrain is the first time since the 24 Hours of Le Mans that Olly Jarvis, Josh Pierson and Tom Blomqvist are back together in the WEC paddock. The #23 celebrated victory in Portimao, clinched a podium in Spa, and are determined to finish the season on a high.
