This summer, it will mark 30 years since McLaren won the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. To kickstart the momentous season, United Autosports - official racing partner of McLaren Automotive - has created a dynamic new look for the team’s duo of McLaren GT3 EVOs which will contest the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship.

The #59 and #95 LMGT3 contenders align with the distinctive papaya identity of McLaren Racing’s Formula 1, IndyCar and Formula E teams, while also emphasising the unique aerodynamic design of the McLaren GT3 EVO.

“It is a very special year to be racing with McLaren in the WEC,” says Richard Dean, United Autosports CEO, “and our 2025 livery celebrates that. This season is about building on strong foundations, winning races and going for the championship title, and we are doing that in a car that is proudly, unmistakeably McLaren.”

The #59 McLaren GT3 EVO - which shares the race number of the Le Mans-winning McLaren F1 GTR - welcomes returning United WEC driver duo James Cottingham and Gregoire Saucy, who together posted three top-four race results with the team in the 2024 WEC, and new addition to the team Sebastien Baud who celebrated on the WEC LMGT3 podium at the 2024 8 Hours of Bahrain.

In the #95 McLaren GT3 EVO - numbered in honour of the 1995 Le Mans victory - WEC race winners Darren Leung and Sean Gelael are making their debut with United Autosports, together with returning United driver and WEC podium placer Marino Sato.

“Now that we have proven the McLaren GT3 EVO’s speed and endurance at the highest level of competition,” says Michael Leiters, CEO, McLaren Automotive, “we enter the new season confident of competing for the WEC title with our Racing Partner United Autosports. Racing is in the DNA of all our supercars and the WEC, with the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans at its heart, is the ideal competitive environment for them, so we are excited for what we can together deliver on the track this year.”
