- Lorige to join team for 2021 WEC season, starting at Spa
United Autosports are pleased to announce that Lorige watches will join the team for the 2021 FIA World Endurance Championship.
Lorige is a bespoke watch manufacturer that creates watches from the brake pads of endurance racing cars that have won major races. As an innovative and engaging upcoming watch brand, Lorige are paving the way for the latest timepieces, whilst their resourcefulness and recycling of endurance car parts places them at the forefront of 21st century sustainability.
Lorige and United Autosports will be working together to create a bespoke watch collection, using the brake pads from last season’s WEC race at Circuit of the Americas, Texas, where the team scored their second world championship race win in as many races. Lorige will also be creating a watch from the brake pads that were on the #22 Le Mans 24 Hours race winning car.
United Autosports are looking forward to welcoming Lorige as an official partner of the team when the 2021 FIA World Endurance Championship begins at Spa Francorchamps, Belgium next week.
The #22 Oreca 07 will be driven by Phil Hanson, Filipe Albuquerque and Fabio Scherer for the 2021 season.
