“This year we will have to continue to innovate and push for new ways to positively influence their own on track performance,” explains Burgoyne, “and use all data available to understand competitors through Valkyrie science and technology."
Now, in year three of the partnership, the Austin-based AI firm will work with United Autosports across all three championships in the 2024 calendar – WeatherTech IMSA SportsCar Championship (IMSA), FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and European Le Mans Series (ELMS).
“Valkyrie provides us with incredible strategic insight,” says Richard Dean, United Autosports CEO, “and we are extremely proud to continue this partnership for a third season. Competition on the grid, in every championship we race in, is increasing year on year - and Valkyrie is invaluable in our continued fight for success.”
Valkyrie branding will be displayed on the rear wing of both United Autosports LMP2 Oreca 07s for the 2024 IMSA season, starting at the Rolex 24 at Daytona which kicks off today at 13:40 EST / 18:40 GMT.
