How and why did you get into motorsport? My dad brought me to a go kart track and I fell in love with the sport. Plus, I grew up watching F1 with the big fights between Senna and Prost.
Who is your favourite driver and why? When I was little my idol was Ayrton Senna. Today I don’t have any favourite driver. I am driving against the best in the world. I only respect some more than others.
What is your favourite racetrack and why? I like the tracks I have won at. But generally, I like Spa, Le Mans, Daytona. I tend to like the iconic, old school tracks where mistakes are not allowed. Nowadays, most of the new tracks have huge run off areas and any driver can get to the limit very easy.
What is your best racing memory and why? Luckily, I have a few. My biggest wins are the ones that come to mind like winning Le Mans, Daytona but as well some of the hardest where I was far from winning but I learned a lot.
What is your greatest racing achievement to date? I would say winning Daytona and Le Mans in a row. I think my great achievement in my career was to get where I am now. Driving in the best teams in the world, in the most competitive endurance championship there is and along with that, the respect I’ve earned in the paddock from drivers, team owners, race directors etc. In life we work hard to achieve our goals but it’s very important how we get there.
Do you have any secret talents or anything that would surprise us about you? I can’t tell you my secrets and I work very hard for no one to know my weakest point.
Do you have any pre-Le Mans rituals? I like to be really relaxed in the weeks before the race as if I was 15 years old with no worries about anything. I try to postpone everything I have to do for after the race, I just like to do whatever I want to do, like if I was a young child. I think that is the true happiness. And a happy driver is a fast driver.

How and why did you get into motorsport? My dad was a karting driver. He won the Swiss championship 8 times. When I was young, I wanted to do the same. And I begged until I was allowed to.
Who is your favourite driver and why? Max Verstappen. I like his attitudes and the way he is driving.
What is your favourite racetrack and why? After Le Mans I think it could be Le Mans. Otherwise Spa, Monza and Silverstone. It must be old school and highspeed.
What is your best racing memory and why? The good battle I had at Spa in Formula 3. And my first win with United Autosports at the same place this year.
What is your greatest racing achievement to date? My 100 per cent win rate in LMP2 so far.
Do you have any secret talents or anything that would surprise us about you? I am quite talented in skiing. Especially off the slopes.
How have you been preparing for your first 24-hour race? I do training sessions at night. And I look more at fitness instead of strength. Besides that, I will us the simulator.
What advice have people given you ahead of the race? Being very cautious and careful. Endurance is important. The race will not be won in qualifying either than in the first lap.
